Location, Location, Location...

This boutique Inn offers something for everyone! In the heart of Hermosa Beach, in the Central Pacific Zone of Costa Rica and just a few minutes away from Jaco Beach, you will find Surf Inn Hermosa! Playa Jaco is a rapidly developing little town where one can find supermarkets, banks, pharmacies, restaurants, stores, bars and nightlife; and the hotel is located just outside of this popular tourist destination. Playa Hermosa is one of the surfing beach world known for its amazing waves. There waves breaking everyday, right in front of the hotel, just steps away from the rooms. The waves are consistent year-round.

We are conveniently located 90 minutes from San Jose and close to a pick-up and drop-off point on the Interbus route on the Pacific coastal highway. We can arrange for airport transfer with a highly reputable transfer service.

Driving Directions: Juan Santamaría Airport to Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica

From the San Jose Airport (Juan Santa Maria) exit, turn right and go under the overpass. Turn right and go over the overpass to Alajuela. Do not go to Alajuela, but head north on highway 1 towards San Ramon. Travel approximately 8 miles ( 14 kilometers) along this highway, looking for a sign on the right that says "Playa Herradura". When you see this sign, veer off to the right to exit. Stay in the left lane and turn left at this intersection. Go over the overpass and follow the road thru the mountains. Continue straight following the signs that say Atenas, Orotina, Herradura, Playa Jaco or Quepos. Any of these locations will keep you on the right track.

Go past Atenas and onto Orotina. Do not turn into Orotina but stay on the main highway. Go over the railroad tracks then turn right to Playa Jaco. At the next intersection, turn right and go under the overpass to Playa Jaco and Quepos. At Playa Jaco, stay on the main highway and bypass the town limits. Go past the gas station and travel another 4 miles ( 6 kilometers ) to Playa Hermosa. The soccer field and the school will be on the right side. SURF INN HERMOSA is 500 yards past the school on the right hand side. We have a big painting on the front of the building and the name SURF INN HERMOSA painted on the front. Reception is up the second set of stairs on the 3rd Floor in the Cafe.
