Today, we had our first Solar Hot Water Heater Installed on the Roof! The energy of the sun will now be heating the water for our oceanfront units. The collector Solar Panel has been fitted to the roof and will be collecting heat from the sun throughout the day to heat up the water which is then stored in a the hot water cylinder.
Here at Surf Inn, we feel it is best to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and the Solar Hot Water Heater System is a great place to begin. Not only will it assist with savings on electric bills, but it will also help reduce the impact on the environment. Conventional hot water heater systems waste a significant amount of energy and solar energy is a renewable energy source, that is a clean, cost-effective solution that does not produce any harmful emissions. We are super excited here at Surf Inn Hermosa to be Going Green and we are thankful to Asdrubal Solano for installing our system.
